Taking Insight to a New Level

For more sophisticated trend analysis, Global Compliance has developed a data extraction, charting, and graphing tool to further empower our clients. Our Report Writer enables real-time queries and trend analysis of data collected from all intake sources as well as the export of data into Excel spreadsheets. This enhanced tool consists of three modules that can be used singularly or as a package:  

Query and Analysis – with this module, the user can monitor report counts by issue type, location, status, disposition, etc., perform detail-level research, extract case details, and navigate to cases.

Capabilities: This module provides a library of pre-defined, customizable queries, the ability to create new queries, the ability to save custom queries and share them with other users, some configurable graphing and charting options, the ability to add to the dashboard, and the ability to output tabular results to Excel for manipulation and/or graphing and charting.

Ad Hoc Reporting - with this module, the user can run impromptu and scheduled reports for comparative analysis of program data using configurable parameters, identify trends and gaps at a summary level, and format graphical and tabular outputs for inclusion in management-level performance reporting.  

Capabilities: This module provides a library of pre-defined ad hoc reports, the ability to create and modify ad hoc reports, the ability to configure parameters and apply formulas, the ability to format results, and the ability to output results to multiple file formats (CSV, XLS, PDF, RTF, and HTML)  

Advanced Analytics - with this module, the user can perform complex analysis of key performance and risk indicators, configure “clickable” charts and graphs for drill down to supporting data, and format graphical and tabular outputs for inclusion in management-level performance reporting.  

Capabilities: This module provides a library of pre-defined analysis views; the ability to modify and save as new, sophisticated functionality for manipulating and presenting data, the ability to drill into supporting data, and the ability to output results to PDF and Excel.

Across the three modules, realize the following features and benefits: 

  • Seamless interface with the Information and Case Management system ensures queried data includes all report sources (hotline, web, and internally received and entered reports) and includes data specific to receipt, retention, and treatment of allegations to enable comprehensive analysis
  • Standard or custom searches and the ability to filter data and define displayed output (pie chart, bar chart, line graph) enable routine or ad-hoc reporting
  • Standard reports provide pre-defined searches based on the most common search criteria
  • Custom reports allow the building, saving, and/or running of a custom-built query or modification of a pre-defined query
  • Dashboard view of graphs and charts summarizes program activity and statistics and enables users to: 
    • Add and modify up to six reports (standard or custom) for display 
    • Select tabular or graphical reports for display
  • Excel downloads of search results provide the full spectrum of data manipulation, charting, and graphing capabilities inherent with Microsoft Excel software
  • Library of saved frequent searches increases efficiency of future report generation and modification
  • Report Writer eliminates the need for external custom reports which can be costly and require lengthy development time
  • Secure, password-protected website guarantees confidentiality of sensitive information
